Job Summary:
The Fish Filleter is responsible for filleting various species of fish with precision and efficiency, ensuring minimal product loss. This position requires attention to detail, compliance with food safety regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness, ensuring the proper functioning of the equipment and meeting productivity and quality expectations. Training will be provided.

Main Responsibilities:
- Cut and fillet various fish species accurately and minimize waste.
- Keep workstations and equipment clean, respecting the highest standards of sanitation.
- Inspect and ensure proper operation of filleting equipment; Report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Handle seafood correctly to maximize shelf life and ensure food safety.
- Communicate any production-related or safety-related concerns to the supervisor.
- Clean and disinfect work areas and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Identify and report any quality issues to supervisors.
- Meet the productivity and quality expectations set by the supervisor.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience using fillet knives, food processing equipment, and following food safety protocols in a fast-paced work environment (seafood processing experience preferred).

Skills and Competencies:
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.
- Basic proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Work Environment:
- You should be comfortable working in a cold environment (approximately 35ºF / 1.6ºC).
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements with the hands.
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
