About the Role
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our mechanical, electrical, and climate-control systems. Your expertise will help maintain the quality of our products and create a safe, efficient working environment for our team. You will work with advanced equipment, tackle technical challenges, and be a key player in keeping our facilities running at peak performance.
What You’ll Do
- Start, operate, repair, and maintain heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and other building-related systems.
- Perform major repairs and replacements of mechanical plant equipment.
- Install, repair, and calibrate pneumatic and/or electric controls for temperature and humidity regulation.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Interpret and execute work orders, operating instructions, diagrams, building plans, and mechanical drawings.
- Climb ladders, work at heights, and lift/move items up to 100 lbs.
- Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional unscheduled shifts as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Education & Certification: Two (2) year associate degree or equivalent certification from a technical or vocational school in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, or heating plant operations.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, or heating plant maintenance.
- Licenses: Must possess and maintain a valid refrigeration license in accordance with local laws and ordinances.
- Driver’s License: Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
