A well-established manufacturer and distributor in the Metro New York – New Jersey area is seeking a Facility Maintenance/Packaging Equipment Mechanic to join its team. With nearly a century of experience, this company provides top-quality beverage dispensing solutions and premium syrups for both domestic and international markets.

📍 Location: Towaco, NJ
🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
💰 Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour
🎯 Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, including packaging and processing machinery.
✅ Troubleshoot electronic controls, sensors, pumps, and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth operations.
✅ Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
✅ Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs within the facility.
✅ Utilize computer systems for monitoring, diagnosing, and improving equipment efficiency.
✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while adhering to company and OSHA safety standards.
✅ Collaborate with the team to enhance production efficiency and minimize equipment failures.

Qualifications & Experience:

✔️ 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial machinery, or packaging equipment repair (experience in food or beverage manufacturing is a plus).
✔️ Strong mechanical skills and ability to work with various tools and equipment.
✔️ Knowledge of electronics, controls, electricity, and pneumatics is a plus.
✔️ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
✔️ A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and teamwork mentality.
✔️ Ability to pass a drug test.
✔️ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
