We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team in Troy, NY. This leadership role is an excellent opportunity to advance your nursing career while contributing to high-quality resident care and team development.
Key Responsibilities
As the ADON, you will support the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) and play a vital role in managing nursing operations and maintaining care standards:

Leadership & Supervision:
- Assist with nursing management responsibilities and ensure quality care delivery.
- Oversee daily staffing processes and foster effective communication among staff.
- Support the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff.

Clinical Operations:
- Conduct weekly wound/skin rounds and manage infection control measures.
- Ensure residents' medical needs are met and maintain accurate medical records.
- Coordinate and direct the planning and implementation of nursing services.

Flexibility & Responsiveness:
- Provide 24/7 on-call support to address operational needs.
- Adapt to unpredictable scheduling requirements to support facility operations.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY (required).
- 3+ years of experience in long-term care settings (required).
- 2+ years of management experience (preferred).
- 1+ year of staff education experience (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
