We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Brooklyn to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nursing professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to maintaining high-quality care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As the ADON, your duties will include:

Leadership & Supervision:
- Assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) with management responsibilities.
- Oversee daily staffing processes and ensure effective communication across nursing teams.
- Support the onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff.

Clinical Operations:
- Conduct weekly wound/skin rounds and ensure effective infection control protocols.
- Meet the medical needs of residents and maintain accurate, timely medical records.
- Coordinate and direct the planning and implementation of nursing services.

Compliance & Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Monitor and address issues related to documentation and staff performance.

Flexibility & Responsiveness:
- Be available 24/7 on-call to address unpredictable needs.
- Maintain flexibility with work schedules to meet operational demands.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NY (required).
- 3+ years of experience in long-term care settings (required).
- 2+ years of management experience (preferred).
- 1+ year of staff education experience (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment.
