The Packaging Mechanic / Facilities Maintenance Technician will play a key role in maintaining and repairing packaging machinery, as well as ensuring the upkeep of the facilities to support efficient manufacturing and delivery operations. This position will work closely with the production and maintenance teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues, and perform routine preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment involved in beverage production, packaging, and distribution.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on beverage packaging equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors.
- Maintain the general upkeep of the facility, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and lighting.
- Respond promptly to any equipment failures or emergencies, making repairs quickly to minimize downtime and impact on production.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs for all equipment and facilities repairs, including details of work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Work alongside other maintenance team members, production staff, and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes and equipment to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and ensure quality.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging equipment maintenance or facilities maintenance, preferably within a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as packaging lines.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a plus.
