Summary:
Ensure that assigned Retail and Airline packaging workstations are consistently supplied with the correct, high-quality edible products to meet production schedules. Promptly report any issues related to non-standard products, inventory shortages, or potential delays. In case of absence, a trained employee will assume duties as outlined in SOP 4.1.2.5.
Ensure that assigned Retail and Airline packaging workstations are consistently supplied with the correct, high-quality edible products to meet production schedules. Primary Responsibilities:
- Retrieve ingredients following the first-in, first-out procedure.
- Understand and correctly follow mixing procedures.
- Read and interpret formula sheets.
- Accurately weigh products and operate DE clumper machinery.
- Apply oil, salt, and seasonings to products as needed.
- Properly label and tag products.
- Read and follow production schedules.
- Prepare products for retail packaging and report any issues to management.
- Operate hand trucks and tow motors safely.
- Adhere to quality control procedures, safety guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized.
- Properly dispose of cardboard and debris, and charge the tow motor at the end of shifts.
- Follow all food safety and quality protocols, completing documentation as needed.
- Perform ATP testing and ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment.
- Operate floor cleaning machinery and train assigned personnel as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of raw materials and mixes.
- Competent in reading and math comprehension.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Capable of working independently and following objectives with minimal supervision.
- Ability to climb ladders or stairs and access platforms to operate equipment efficiently.
Compensation: $17.25 per hour
