Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience exclusively in divorce and family law.
- Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing (Connecticut State Bar admission is a plus).
- Extensive knowledge of New York family law, including statutes, regulations, and legal principles.
- Strong legal writing abilities.
- Capable of managing more than 20 complex cases simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic in client interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in a wide range of matrimonial and family law matters, including uncontested and contested divorces, child custody petitions, surrogacy contracts, pre-birth orders, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and child support modifications.
- Draft and prepare various legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research.
- Stay up-to-date on legal developments through CLE, research, and Firm-sponsored workshops.
- Strictly adhere to attorney-client confidentiality protocols.
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with clients, opposing counsel, the courts, and colleagues.
